OTTAWA-GATINEAU COVID-19 RELIEF
Assalamu Alaikum,
Hope everyone’s doing well insha Allah! UMOOG in collaboration with Faith and local Muslim organizations are working to provide relief for people in need in the Ottawa Community. So far the tasks include packaging non-perishables that will be delivered, picking up prescriptions and medication for the elderly and providing emotional/social support for people feeling isolated. There is also a lot of work to be done with coordinating phone calls and organizing logistics for people who are more comfortable staying inside their homes.
